jonnyrose Posted June 13, 2023 Report Posted June 13, 2023 Does anyone no what hubs will fit my 1941 dodge d21 2 dr sedan, mine are messing and I need to move it by the weekend, thank you Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted June 13, 2023 Report Posted June 13, 2023 Assuming you mean rims - besides MoPar rims, Ford rims will fit. Quote
Sniper Posted June 13, 2023 Report Posted June 13, 2023 Ford rims might fit. I test fitted a steelie from a Crown Vic cop car on my 51, center hole is too small. However, recent model Chargers/300's/Challenger steelies fit, but the offset is different, I am running a set of those, 17", on the back of my 51 with P255/50R17's. But I think the OP is asking about the brake/hub assemblies? Quote
andyd Posted June 14, 2023 Report Posted June 14, 2023 Jonny......if you mean by wheelhubs the actual stub axles King pins are the same on Dodge & Plymouth 1940 to at least 1954 so stub axles will swap.............if by "hubs" you mean the brake bearing hub that the wheel bearings fit into then you may have to fiddle a bit...........what EXACTLY is actually there?........a pic would really help............mopar brake drums(usually) have a small "locating" pin or lug on the brake drum to help locate the wheel.......bolt pattern on Dodge Plymouth, Ford from 1949, Studebaker are all 4.5" x 5 using 1/2" UNF studs & nuts, BUT if the brake drums have threaded holes for screw in bolts.......check that one side(USA Drivers(?)) is not LEFT HAND THREAD.......lol...........pics would really help.........andyd Quote
