mikes48 Posted December 20, 2022 Report Posted December 20, 2022 Can anyone give me some dimensions for a 6 1/2' bed? I need from the front of the bed to the front of the fender. I also need from the back of the fender to the back of the bed. Quote
LMBoise Posted December 20, 2022 Report Posted December 20, 2022 I would help you out Mike, but I don’t have the fenders on the bed yet. Quote
mikes48 Posted December 21, 2022 Author Report Posted December 21, 2022 LmBoise, Measurements to the edge of the lip would be fine. Quote
LMBoise Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 I will do some measuring tomorrow and get back to you. Quote
Los_Control Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 Curious why you want the measurements .... I get the feeling you are wanting to make your own fenders? ..... Sounds awesome. With my fender set into position lined up with the mounting holes. I get 18" from the very outside edge of the length of bed. 18" Both front & rear of the fender meaning the fender is centered on the bed side. Something else to consider if you are making your own fenders, the rear of the running board bolts to the front of the fender. Basically locking the front of the fender into position if you have running boards ..... Why am curious as to what your plans are so possibly could give better help. Quote

They will certainly help. Actually, I have a 7 1/2' bed. I want to shorten it to 6 1/2'. I'll be swapping the the frame with a dakota frame. Quote
