1950 Chrysler Windsor Spark Plugs

Hello all. Love this site. It really helps a rookie getting Into the Mopars. Finally going to change plugs in my 251 L Head. My shop manual calls for Auto Lite Resistor AR5 plugs but I see previous post that AR8's are used. Not sure which way to go. Also being from Canada what would be a good brand to buy here. Auto Lite is not available here.

An AR8 is hotter than an AR5. 

 

If you have a fouling issue a hotter plug might help, too hot and it'll ping.

 

Any good parts store should be able to cross those numbers.
