Reg weren't they IRS too? I think they had that to keep the floor inside lower and flatter

Oh Jesus Ed !!! Please don't use the IRS word around a self employed guy like myself. OH oh oh ...wait....if you mean independant rear suspension. Yes, I think so.

Power wagons had the Diff off to the Rt. side I think, one long axle one short, but are a full floater as are the "DU" 1 ton route vans-solid rear axle housing,full floater axle/drum setup. 6 lug nuts. The "EU" route vans,1-1/2 tonners are IRS-swing axle W/5 stud drums, 1-1/2" lug nuts. Could the rear axle be a full floater 1 ton rear end out of a PW? 1 tons and DU route vans have 1" lug nuts- not bolts.

Can you find a vin number on the driverside of the frame near the front axle? Maybe we could id it from those numbers.
