A few questions.

1. Is this the correct carb for my P15?

2.Is it correctly hooked up?

3. Is there a rebuild kit available?

Thanks!

A couple more pictures.

On the first picture here, what is the unused hole for where the throttle connects?

It seems like there should be a throttle return spring.

D6G1 is the carb number, that might help you getting the right carb parts/kit.

there is a return spring, but it's part of the linkage setup, at least on my 51, where the pivot on the head is.  You can see it in this picture

Thanks for the info Sniper and Moparfun!

I think I will add another return spring right at the carb. There is only a little clip holding the linkage to the carb and if it goes the throttle goes wide open.

so I'm getting ready to order a rebuild kit from Mikes Carb Parts, kit number K1142 for the non dash pot BBR-1 (700s) carb on my 48 Plymouth. Mikes says that the kit fits 39-54 Plymouth without dashpot. I have looked all over and have not found the 700s designator in either Mikes or at Napa concerning kit information. I just want to make sure that this is the right kit. Anyone have an opinion? I have a email into Mikes right now requesting verification. Mikes kit is $32 Napa's is $65
