Price of metal has gone through the roof....at an all time high right now.  If you are lucky enough to have a metal recycler who will allow parts removal before crushing it would be the opportune time to make a walk through that yard.  While it would be an extremely are event to find a 40/50 car there.....retrofitters  and upgraders looking for rear gear, brake mods, trannies and the sort, this could be the opportunity you awaiting for.  My local started a huge new yard of the new arrivals to the one side and it is overflowing.   Last week I did not have time to do the cruise of the newer arrivals.  Probably head out for a walkabout the new arrivals today or tomorrow.

There is a metal scrapper around here with yard signs at intersections advertising, $450-$500 per junk car. Last time I junked a car I had to pay them $50 to take it and I drove it to them. They got this on their website:

Thats interesting to know. We had a hail storm last week and wife car windshield got cracked maybe I scrap it  :D

 

Just looking on marketplace and they have this advertised for $500 clean title runs & drives burns no oil. Might be worth it to scrap it?
