Cudan Posted March 20, 2021 Report Posted March 20, 2021 Hi, I am working on the clutch and have a Q Is the fork in the first pic incorrectly mounted to the release bearing, I found this pic on the net. When i see the manual the fork is hold in place under the clip ? See second pic. I assume that is the correct way to install the fork. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 20, 2021 Report Posted March 20, 2021 no...springs lock into the cups back side of the fork... Quote
Cudan Posted March 20, 2021 Author Report Posted March 20, 2021 This way, see red arrow, the fork under the spring. Quote
Sniper Posted March 20, 2021 Report Posted March 20, 2021 (edited) That is not the fork, those are the ears on the throwout bearing retainer. The clips need to be on the clutch fork, basically rotate it 90 degrees CCW. Edited March 20, 2021 by Sniper pic attached 1 1 Quote
