Hi all, for my 1948 p15 I ordered by Bermbaum the hoodlace, 2 laces, 1 thicker than the other, with fabric between. See pic. some questions before installation. Which lace side, the thicker or the smaller is to the windowside, according the pic the thicker lace side is to the window side ? do i have to instal the lace tight to the firewall edge or a little bit before ? See pic. thanks Dan

Thanks Rich, I already have the fenderwelting but I need to know when a assemble it how high goes the fenderwelting, only as high as the the front fender or higher. Perhaps a pic how far the fenderwelting is up. thanks Dan

Hi, how high is the fender welt between the outer front fender and the A pillar, there was not a fender welt on it and now rebuilding I don’t know how high the fender welt has to be. Till the end of the fender or higher? Perhaps someone has a clear pic, I could not find it a the net. thanks Dan

Thanks, yes i have the strap steel bracket up side down, it put it there for the pic. but on the partsbook pic the 15-11-7 is shaped totaly different? Dan

Hi all, I am trying to assemble the inner and front fenders, when a disassembled them I forgot to make pics. I have the parts book, but i think i am missing a part at the front for the radiator, a square bar ? I need some pics to help me ? thanks Dan

I used for this trial 12 volt starter cables tot the ground an starter I wil check them.

The p15 starter directly connected to the battery

The battery is new and fully charged and only the engine is on the chassis

The starter motor only gets the engine turned when I take the sparksplugs out. The battery 6 v 160 ah is new and for testing i connected the battery - directly to the starter. What could be wrong, the starter ? Not enough power to turn the engine with compression ? Needs new brushes ? Dan

Hi Sam, did you have the leakage from the lower location yellow arrow ? Or other because I see more sealed locations. cudan

Hi, yes it the 3 speed manual box, maybe it is after good cleaning possible with a sealant on the outside to stop the leakage, I am going to try that first cudan

Hi, at the front of the gearbox I have a oil leakage, it is coming out of a kind of metal sealing plug ?Is this a welch plug? See the pic. how to solve this leakage ? cudan
