Going to order new run channel and fuzzies for a 48 Ply 2dr sedan. I was wondering where to get the best stuff? Who's used what? Steele, Atlas, or Andy B? Any input would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

Cat's wiskers, dew wipes, flocked channel....The little mohair fuzz sweeps that run horizontally at the bottom of the window opening. I believe one attaches to the door and one to the garnish.

Here is a source for generic supposed to fit out cars if the precuts are out of reach from the other vendors. Check restorations specialties also. Probably very similar to 46 -48 Fords and should be readily availabel for them.

Mopar is somwhat different than some of the other cars..the wiper metal is a tad wider than some of the others...not always avialable in stainless bead either..you can make most of them work with a bit of modification but attaching is a trick..most were stapled in place. The channel is real easy to replace and save you old ones and drill out the locking bar and reattach tothe new stuff...

Restorations Specialties has excellent parts that are reasonable in cost. They are very knowledgable. If you aren't sure of what you see in their catalog, call and talk to them.

It's been a while, but I got stainless beaded strips from JC Whitney. You have to invent your own way to attach them, but they can be formed and look pretty good. It seems they were not very expensive either, shipped in a long tube.
