I have a Mitsubishi truck with a turbo 4 that has a normal full flow filter as well as a factory installed bypass cartridge. All the oil that goes from the pump to the bearings goes through the full flow. all excess to bearing needs is routed by the oil pressure regulator to the bypass filter. Oil/filter changes are expensive! I think bypass cartridge for that application would fit the remote adapters. I'll check at next oil change. But, if I can make it work, I'd much rather just have a real full flow adaptation to my '56. Maybe one of these days. Quote
tanda62 Posted July 7, 2018 Report Posted July 7, 2018 While I haven't run the engine yet, I did just install a spin on bypass filter. The mounting base is a WIX 24755 and the filter is WIX 51050. Both of which I bought on Amazon are a specifically for bypass systems. Quote

NiftyFifty Posted July 8, 2018 Report Posted July 8, 2018 Little off topic, but if you put a radio in your truck, let me know if you have issues with it whining with the engine...I’ve heard those plug wires that are the “fake cloth” are non-resistor and don’t work well with any modern radios. Quote
