Hello mopar owners,

i am am having trouble adjusting the shifting linkage. I can’t get reverse and it seem to only have 2nd and 3rd. It’s difficult to do alone without someone to meet be the linkages while I am underneath. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

You obviously have it up in the air,so see if you can engage first and reverse manually from under the car. If you can,you know it is a linkage adjustment problem/

Check where the shift yoke lifts the collar. I adjusted, etc, etc, with no results. Then I discovered that over the years a build up of HARD grease/dirt in that collar so that that lift yoke would slip off and not lift. Once that was clean, adjustment was NOT critical.  In short, CLEAN EVERYTHIG !! Good luck.
