John32369 Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 I have found a 48 Chrysler club coupe with a fluid drive transmission with overdrive but no title for 800$. Will that transmission and overdrive fit my 47 Desoto club coupe? Quote

It seems to have a lot of parts that some people here would surely want, and AFATG's,somebody might want to buy the whole car to put on the road. Legal titles aren't that hard to get in most states. John32369 Posted April 22, 2018 Author Report Posted April 22, 2018 Oh don’t worry, I wouldn’t scrap it. I was planning on offering parts to anybody here or selling the body to whoever wants it. Quote
John32369 Posted April 23, 2018 Author Report Posted April 23, 2018 Can you tell by the pics if it’s a New Yorker or a Windsor, or what model it is? Quote
Kevinb71 Posted April 24, 2018 Report Posted April 24, 2018 From the length of the hood it looks like a New Yorker to me.. Quote
Frank Elder Posted April 24, 2018 Report Posted April 24, 2018 2 tell tales on windsor or new yorker...8 cylinder new yorker, 6 windsor. Big fender between door and front wheel new yorker. small fender windsor To me it looks like you have a Windsor club coupe with the same wheel base as your desoto.....lots of parts body and frame interchange.
