greg g Posted December 11, 2017 Report Posted December 11, 2017 Amazing old iron. Elbow out the window, hand signals working. Don't get any better! Quote
Gregarious13 Posted December 11, 2017 Author Report Posted December 11, 2017 Something magical about driving that car. The Gyro-Matic transmission is a trip! The driver is my friend and this is his first restoration project, and I'm glad I can help him out. I did cut the part where my buddy and I start asking each other weather or not we torqued the lug nuts or not. Quote
fhubler Posted December 12, 2017 Report Posted December 12, 2017 Everybody forgets something sometime. After I put my A back together, I drove over an hour before the front shocks fell off. Not bad for finger tight... Quote
Gregarious13 Posted December 12, 2017 Author Report Posted December 12, 2017 I once forgot to install a torque converter and only realized after the car was on the ground. I was so happy with how well the job went until I walked into the shop, and there it was, sitting on the bench. Dohh!! Greg 1 Quote
