Dodgeb4ya Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Chrysler didn't make one for the C48 Royal Woodie wagon or the other Town and Country models. I have a Royal wagon too. Quote
hudson1948 Posted April 21, 2017 Author Report Posted April 21, 2017 How did the dealer parts departments order parts. there had to be some kind of a list or was there a seperate company that made the wagon bodies that published a parts sheet or book. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 not to take away from this forum or any of the knowledge base of the members here but have you also tried to source this information from the AACA? Often these guys are overlooked in quest for parts and resources. Quote
greg g Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Yes bodies were made and mounted to chassis cowl assembly by a separate contractor at their facility. You might want to check for info on the Imperial club website. They have quite a bit of data on down market Chryslers as well as Imperials. The Walter P Chrysler Club site may also have some info or lead you to a source or two. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 All Parts including wood parts are listed in the 1950 MoPar parts book. The original Town and Country Owners Club was a great info source for all Chrysler wood bodied cars but has been long gone. The national "Woodie Club" has a sub chapter for MoPar woodie owners. Not nearly as good as the original. Quote
