Normspeed Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 What a great piece of P15 history that photo is. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Hmmm.....I had only noticed one rack. Quote

Any idea where the photos were taken? I don't find many winter shots of plymouths... especially ski related. Coming from a ski town, it's fun to see the old stuff. Here's a '50, grabbed from the net some time ago- Quote
Guest Nelsons Ply Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Looking at the ladys shoes i bet that pic was taken in the 50s. Took my first plymouth the snow often but did even own a camera. Dave that car of yours will go great in the snow. Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Hmmm.....I had only noticed one rack. Me Too!!!! Quote
greg g Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Hey Pete, your pics aren't coming through. Anyone else having trouble seeing them??? Others seem to be no problem. Quote
40phil41 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Not only do I not get Petes photo (red X) but David's pic is so dark I cannot see any of the details. Phil Quote
Guest Nelsons Ply Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Petes pic were there this morning.Get red X now. Quote
Guest Nelsons Ply Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Just right clicked the red X and up pops Petes picture. Puzzled again. Quote
David Maxwell Posted November 12, 2006 Author Report Posted November 12, 2006 Monitor settings will cause what you see to vary from one computer to the next. If you have an image viewing program such as Photoshop or Photo Deluxe, you can adjust the brightness and contrast to see the image better. Quote
David Maxwell Posted November 12, 2006 Author Report Posted November 12, 2006 Great pic in spite of the misfortune. Quote
PatS.... Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Nice pics. Pete's pic may not be as bad as it looks. There is what looks like an ESSO service station on the opposite corner. The sign is barely visible against the snow. Must be a Canadian pic Quote
D25_Steve Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 ^ I'm guessing Saskatchewan from the plate. Quote
blueskies Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Not sure why the pic didn't show for some of you... When I read this thread this morning, my pic wasn't there for me either... I reloaded the page, and there it was. Wierd? I'm doing my part to capture my car in all seasons. I can vouch for the roadworthyness of my '50 in Idaho snow... I'd hate to run it off the road though- Winter has finally arrived here, it's been feeling like september up until last night, 4 inches during the night, 6 predicted today, and another 4 tonight. I put my car away for the winter yesterday because of it's engine noise, where it will slumber till spring. Pete Quote
40phil41 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 The photo which wasn't working for me the past few days is now showing up fine. Including Pete's most recent set. Weird indeed! Nice Pics Pete. Phil Quote
blueskies Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I just re-read this thread again, and only two of the three photos in my last post showed up, until I reloaded the page. What's up? Pete Quote
martybose Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I just re-read this thread again, and only two of the three photos in my last post showed up, until I reloaded the page. What's up? The same thing happened to me; it usually means that your computer used what it had cached instead of downloading again, but when you manually initiated a reload it downloaded everything. Marty Quote
Normspeed Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 When I was a kid in New Jersey, we had Esso stations there. Later, they split off. Nice pics. Pete's pic may not be as bad as it looks. There is what looks like an ESSO service station on the opposite corner. The sign is barely visible against the snow. Must be a Canadian pic Quote
