austinsailor Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 I considered selling my 42 Plymouth 2 door to a fellow, but decided I'd keep it. But, what he really thinks he wants is as 42 Plymouth 4 door without suicide doors. I know I've seen some Chryslers and maybe Dodges that fit this description, but don't recall seeing Plymouths. Did they even exist? What do they call these anyway? Quote
JerseyHarold Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 They were called Town Sedans and I almost bought one in the 1970's. Quote
austinsailor Posted February 9, 2017 Author Report Posted February 9, 2017 I kind of thought town sedan was the name, but I've seen some normal suicide door cars here called town sedans, thought I was wrong. I guess they were. But, did Plymought make them as well, or only the high priced lines? Quote
Young Ed Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 (edited) Plymouth did have one for 42 that wasn't continued into the P15 era. Edited February 9, 2017 by Young Ed found picture Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 I do not recall ever seeing a Plymouth Town Sedan and in real life the two Dodge Town Sedans I have seen in person I own. The Plymouth TS would truly put you in a class all by yourself.....a couple folks on here own Dodge units. Quote

austinsailor Posted February 9, 2017 Author Report Posted February 9, 2017 (edited) Well, then! The guy who was interested in my car is probably going to have to get over it. I doubt he'll find one if only 5 exist. I sent the link to his son - he doesn't have email. I'll have to call him in a few days after it's had time to get to him. thanks for the info.
