Hi there,

I am currently doing up a 55 plymouth plaza wagon and amongst a bare metal respray.  I would like to respray it the original color but cant find a modern paint code to help.

Please see attached photo of a car with a very close paint color.

Any help would be very much appreciated :)  It looks to be a very early metallic.

Many thanks,

Glen

Could you please post project photos? You and I can't be the only ones here that love 55-56 stationwagons.

Actually I love most stationwagons, but 55-56 Plymouths are amongst my favorite cars. Would love to have a 56 Plymouth anything.

Hey Nuckleharley, I'll be selling my 56 Suburban soon after I work out a few bugs.  It has wide white radials and a roof rack on it now.

Yeah, but would have to be cheap because  you live on the left coast, and I live on the east coast. Paying to get it shipped or going after it myself would be a killer. If I lived within 500 miles or so of you,I'd be a serious contender, though.

Maybe you could just move to CA then.

Thanks, but I don't want anything that badly.  I hope to be moving to somewhere in or very near a western mountain chain in the next couple of years, though. My house will be paid for in 3 more payments,so I am just getting started on repairing or replacing stuff in my motor home so I will be able to hit the road and look at leisure for a new home.

California ain't in the running,though.
