Lou Earle Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 The cause of the brake chatter and locking up on the passenger side of the 47 sedan. What do you think? I thought there was a lot of dust in the drum and area!! What to fix- Little JB weld and feather it out? little duct tape around the edges? Maybe some bondo? What about just cutting it off and reversing it and put it on the back?Might be a bit safer to get them re lined what ?? me worry?? Quote
greg g Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Take it to your local Rhyno lining dealer and have them spray some of their stuff on it, put it on the front of the rear wheel so the good stuff contacts first. Rear brakes don't do much anyway, you should get three or four years out of it.... Quote
PatS.... Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Poly-filla should fix that baby right up Quote
Brad Lustig Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Looks like one of those extra parts that the factory puts in the car sometimes. I'll bet there was another one on the other side of the drum that is similar. That just proves my point. Some pledge should take care of the dust. Although, I do like your duct tape idea... Quote
