I got a call this AM from the folks at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, the folks were responding to an email I sent on Saturday reminding them of our intention to bring a group there.  We will be visiting there on our P14 D24 Hudson River Valley tour on August 23. She reminded me that there are biplane rides available for $75.00 from the AM till just before their air show starts at 2:00PM.  Rides are first come first served so those of you attending that went to take a flight might want to set your alarms for early morning and trek on over and get your name on the list.  the price seems reasonable the scenery from above will be great.  The plane is a 1929 New Standard D25 Biplane.  Built for mail hauling crop dusting and barnstorming carries 3 passenger plus the pilot.

One of our very favorite movies- I actually had a great-great uncle Hub, who was from central Texas!

Amen! Excellent movie. Wish they made more like it instead of all the nonsense superhero rubbish and CGI junk they seem to be stuck on.
