DJ194950 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Last motor attachment appears to have a cruise control cable/ball chain hooked to carb linkage. Quote
YukonJack Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) I like the color on the 48. Don't care much for the bazooka tailpipes though. Edited June 13, 2015 by YukonJack Quote
ellum Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 The tailpipes on the Ply are really annoying. Like Chryslers design! Elvis Quote
Tommy Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 You didn't get pics of the A/C setup, by chance? Quote
greg g Posted June 13, 2015 Author Report Posted June 13, 2015 no, I didn't. But the compressor is hung from a fabricated backet secured by head bolts, on the Driver's side. It partially covers the engine number casting boss. If you search Air Conditioning on this forum, a couple of folks have posted similar set ups. The condenser is mounted remotely under the car with its own fan. Quote
greg g Posted June 13, 2015 Author Report Posted June 13, 2015 the owner of the 48 spent much of his life in the trucking industry. perhaps his choice reflects that association. Maybe there was a single stack Mack in his life with a similar pipe design. Quote
ACJCF2 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Those are 3.5" echo cans which enhance the exhaust note. They'll wake up the glass pack(s). Quote
