USMC1188 Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 Any quick tips tricks on removing the doghouse? Whether it's in one piece, or seperate, I'm alright either way. Just want some places to look before I get working on it over the next couple days. Basically, where are all the bolts, or anything else I need to remove the front end and fenders..... Quote

suntennis Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 Search the tech section and there should be some answers there. Removing the radiator would lighten the load. Behind the kick panels there should be 2 or 3 nuts on each side. On the 52 cars there is nut on the back side of the fender at the bottom and a stud with a nut attaching the fender to the firewall. Then there are two nuts on bottom of frame that hold the radiator support. Disconnect the wiring as needed. Quote
TrampSteer Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) 48Dodger posted some pretty good videos on the front clip (for a pickup) if that is what you are after. https://www.youtube.com/user/194853DodgeTrucks/videos Edited June 11, 2015 by TrampSteer Quote
greg g Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 I believe it has been noted that there are 13 assorted fasteners holding the front sheetmetal to the body. I do not know if this includes the nuts holding the studs on the front end of the rocker panel trim pieces. Quote
