Two or three years ago, I saw a TV show that briefly covered a Texas old car parts dealer who had been in business for I forget how many decades.  I would like to find out the name of this business.  The show mentioned the name, but I have forgotten.  One thing the show emphasized is that this old car parts dealer was a bit old fashioned like the parts he sells.  Namely, he doesn't have a web site and doesn't do emails.  To do business with him, you either have to go there or phone him.  On this show, it showed him answering the phone with buyer asking a question like, "Do you have a steering gear for a 1915 Maxwell?" and he would reply "Oh yes we still have a few of those."  Then it showed him giving the reporter a tour with him saying things like "That warehouse is all Ford parts going back to 1903, and that warehouse is all Chrysler."  I seem to also remember that it wasn't in one of the huge Texas cities like Dallas or Houston.  Does anyone know this business?

Mr Stacy Brown told me he has had some health problems over the last two or three years.....therefore he sold the place to some younger guys.

He says they prefer to sell things on line.....but I think they will still sell over the counter, too.

Stacy said he kept a certain amount of parts as his personal stash to take to swap meets - and however else he wants to sell them.

I spoke with him at the Springfield, MO swap meet this past August.

I don't know what all brands of cars they have parts for.  I had asked them in the past for a couple of hard to find Plymouth items, and never

received a call back.  So I assume they did not have them.

wildcat motors are very nice people. they will call you back if they have a part or if they do not.they did not have my part but suggested to call back as inventory changes. I need a pump motor for the convertible top on a 54 Chrysler. hard part to find so far. capt den

I have purchased an OD Solenoids from Antique Auto in Arilington.

Got to take a walk back through the warehouse to get to the box that had about 25 solenoids in it. Quite a collection of everything from rubber parts to fenders, bumpers etc.

Found a couple of solenoids we thought woud work and he let me take three home for the price of one, "just bring back the ones that you don't use." Was pretty reasonable on pricing as well.

Hi Kirk.........I figured you had probably been there.    At least at one time Stacy had a

windshield wiper motor for a P15 convertible (different from closed cars).....I should

have probably bought it for a spare but hated to pay $150 for something to sit on a

shelf.
