chopt50wgn Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 You're probably going to need some shims. They would go between the bolts that hold the hunges on. You can also use a paint stir stick to get proper gap around the door. Check out you tube, it should have some sort of door alignment. Quote
Eneto-55 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I've thought about this sometimes, that I should have punched some alignment markings into the hinges & mounting areas before I took mine all apart, because they were pretty decently aligned then. Quote

William Davey Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 One trick I've heard is to drill small (1/8") holes through the hinge and the door frame (hood, trunk lid, etc) BEFORE you take things apart. Going back together use a small nail or pick to align the pieces back to the original position. 2 Quote
Bingster Posted October 12, 2014 Author Report Posted October 12, 2014 That is a wonderful link! Who'd of thunk. Anyway to print the entire booklet? I tried but it only prints page by page. Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) I have never seen that book before. I have several others of varying topics but really like that one. Thanks much. Edited October 12, 2014 by plymouthcranbrook Quote
