Where do I get headlights or is there a later model lights that would fit my 53 dodge truck

headlight has not changed over the years in the standard 7 inch parabolic sealed beam...chose your favorite bulb by make (GE, Phillips etc) and voltage..you can also upgrade to H4 units modern LED and really push the limit with HID and risk the 10,000.00 fine....lol

Are LED or HID available in 6v?

 

I'm pretty sure you can still get the old 6006 7" diameter 6v bulbs or the H6006 halogen equivalent at the local auto supply store but I was not aware of LED or HID kits for 6v.

never made that claim, only that they were available in 7 inch round...note the wording..chose your voltage..and the even more active word, upgrade...   P.S.  he did not specify if or if not stock..one could guess it is still 6....and one could well be wrong in doing so

Any good auto parts store should carry the headlights in 12 volt.

both 12 v,  6014 non halogen, 6024 should read H6024, standard halogen
