I recently traveled to CA and managed to fit in a trip to the Doheny Wood car show. Hank, Blanca and I walked around and admired the many finely restored woodies on show, and Hank got very busy with his camera. I have gone through those photos and picked out as many MOPAR woodies as I could find for those of you who might be interested. I'm sure that Hank would be happy for me to share those photos with you here. Enjoy...

Hi Tod.The show was at Dana Point. There were many great vehicles there (mostly Ford). It was great to meet up and chat with fellow forum member Charles there in his blue 'woodie' truck.

Seems like he only has the rear end (differential/springs/brakes) as he removed them to install the Jaguar XJ12 front and rear into his vehicle. I may not see the vehicle though as it is at his other property. I will collect the pieces that he has on offer anyway and store them in my parts shed. Would probably prove too expensive to send you any parts from here in Oz fstfish.

Sorry I missed ya mate.  I live about 10 miles from Dana Point and would have loved to hook up.  If you announced your visit ahead of time I missed it.  Alternatively, next time give us in So Cal a headsup.

I didn't know that you were that close to the event Mr Bill - would have enjoyed meeting up with you as well. We (Hank and I) got the idea to visit the woodie show from a post that Charles made a while back. We were very pleased to meet Charles at the event and to check out his truck. There was only really his and Tom's woodie trucks there. There was a really cool Ford woodie truck there as well, which I heard the owner mention that he couldn't afford a woodie truck so he made his own - the photos in the album in the back of his truck verified his statement.

Got to see that Dodge truck woody in person last year in its garage sitting next to its mates! Got my p15-d24 topper from him as well. Was a fun visit and good conversation. Hope someday to get to one of those SoCal woody shows myself.
