I've Been In Mourning....but I'm Back...this Time With A '41 Coupe

Over the winter I sold my '51 Cambridge. Since then nothing felt right. I was able to finish a 4 year project 1961 Buick Skylark 60's style drag car. It still didn't fill the void. I enjoyed the '54 DeSoto but again not satisfied. So, I ended up trading our '34 Plymouth Sedan for my dream car, a 1941 Plymouth Business Coupe.

Now I'm a happy man.

It's good to be back.

I will try to post pics soon.

Sorry to hear you sold the rat but welcome back. Still have the blue binder? Pictures are required!

Rat? Damn you Don!! Yes, I still have the International. Love that damn truck....

You going to build another flat head?

Absolutely. I am 100% flathead. As you should know.

Looking forward to this.

Pics soon.

Both Don... Bolts were loose on one side and it hung wrong. But license plate is definitely crooked. It has since been tightened down and sits straighter

Sorry to hear you sold the Cambridge, BK! What made you do it?

But then again.... the 41 looks to be a GREAT car! I'm looking forward to your build

and to more pictures of the car! How many carbs are planned? ;)

Best, Fred

Finally figured out my PC problem and I can access the new P15-D24 forum. I was only able to access it from my phone. Not the easiest.

So here are a few pics of the '41

So, I'm excited to get started on the '41. It will be a period perfect, mid '40s custom. Slightly raised, black walls, full 16" Lyons hubcaps, skirts, hopped up flat 6.

I am ready.

Thanks guys.

Don, that is a '47 Mercury coupe. It was slated to be my next custom but I found the '41. I was happy to have the Merc but I'm ecstatic now! The Merc is for sale now.
