Cannot Upload Pictures

Whats going on here. After several years now I cannot upload pictures as I have done for hundreds of times to help explain an answer in my posts. I don't want to use my image shack as it's to slow to do. I have tried deleting cookies ect. Nothing seems to let me do it the simple easy way as I have always done.

I'm bummed!

the final step of upload from the computer to online is clicking on the link one loaded "attach photo"

quick test shows site is working..

I use Photobucket. I have tried to upload directly from my computer as thumbnails but all my attempts to do so failed. You are not alone.

 

Hold on.. I did a preview before I hit the post button. A link at the bottom appeared with a paper clip said attach files. I did and I think it did.

hey..you an old pro now....for me it is 10 times easier but unless you carry a thumb drive with you photos at another location is difficult...photobucket does have it's pluses..just not enough of them for me anymore..

Uploading Pics directly from computer-now  impossible...well I tried all the advice no dice. No more pictures from me at this time!

Bob...bottom right, MORE REPLY OPTION click on this, now bottom left is the paper clip and the box CHOOSE FILES....click on this...when you do it access your computer so just maneuver through your hard drive, camera or thumb drive for you photos...if loading from an album you can hold the control kjey and click each print you want to load..,when done click on OPEN..this uploads the pictures but you not done yet at the right of each photo after uploading is the ADD TO POST...click this..now you just post your reply/post or hit preview...if you preview do not forget to go back to the bottom and enter your post....

Go to HELP -> Site Help Topics -> Posting and the section on Attachments. 

 

If that doesn't work put in a support ticket ( HELP -> WebSite Support) with the error you see when you try to upload. 

You may have used all your attachment storage quota. If that is the case you need to either delete attachments from old posts (PITA) or create an Individual Member Photo Gallery in the Photo section and post the images in your personal photo gallery. You can then use the "My Media" button in the toolbar to add pics to your posts.

I solved the problem. I had a Gazillion zigabites of attachments (about a hundred pages of them!)  that I had posted over the past few years and had to delete 10 pages of them just to open up some space! Time consuming to delete just 10 pages. New picture attachments coming soon.

And the easy way around this issue (Attachment quota is full) is to create a personal photo gallery and post your pics in that location. When you want to use them in your posts click on the "My Media" button and you can easily add them to the thread.
