BobT-47P15 Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 Saw this on ebay......I think it's been discussed here before, but for the benefit of newer people decided to post it again. Those nuts on the headlight switch and whatever the other one is can be a real pain to loosen up. I believe this tool can be made in the privacy of your own workshop with some careful grinding upon a socket. "This tool was carefully designed and manufactured to perfectly fit the two slots in the switch nut while leaving room in the middle of the tool for any shaft to extend into. This was made from a high quality steel and has a 1/4 inch square drive so it can be used with all 1/4 drive tools, and it will fit into a 1/4 drive tool rack for easy storage." "This tool removes both the nuts with the 1/16th inch and the 1/8th inch slot." Quote
RobertKB Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 I bought one on ebay and it works just as stated. Very handy to have as I can use it on both my '38 Chrysler and '48 Dodge D25. Well worth the investment and shipped quickly. Quote
Bob Riding Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 What was the title of the E Bay auction? I can't seem to find the one shown. Thanks Bob Quote
Young Ed Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 The seller of these is townwagon on this forum. I bought mine direct from him. Quote
dezeldoc Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 I just use snap ring pliers, works great and fits more than one size! Quote
mrwrstory Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) I make 'em, and then can't find 'em next time I need 'em. So I make another. Takes about 10 min. Edited January 7, 2013 by mrwrstory Quote
