Guest bewillie Posted October 16, 2012 Report Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) Am installing dual BBs and running pcv to spacer under one carb. Should I run pcv line to both carbs or does it make a differance? Also should I run vacum advance to both carbs or just one? THANKS! Billy Edited October 16, 2012 by bewillie Quote
claybill Posted October 16, 2012 Report Posted October 16, 2012 pcv maybe both for good mixture. the vacuum..one carb is enough Quote
Mark D Posted October 16, 2012 Report Posted October 16, 2012 Bewillie - I'll be undertaking the same project in a couple weeks. Love to see some photos of your intake and carb setup. Quote
greg g Posted October 17, 2012 Report Posted October 17, 2012 According to some oldd French or Italian guys the vacuum is the same regardless of where the tap is located. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 most run a single advance line and the choice of single or dual source PCV vacuum is that of your own choice but if you run two sources to a common line you have two sources for leaks and addded material costs..I would look to a common manifold port if possible. If a port is not readily available one can usually find a flat surface and drill and tap...again, a personal choice based on how you wish to make it look cosmetically.. how is the Dodge limo coming along..has it been finished.. Guest bewillie Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 Thanks! Sometimes you know the answer but just question your self. Sometime you should question your self and don't realize it. Most of the time I don't like my own answers. Thats why it's sometime better to ask others. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 Bill; Is this the car you are installing the dual carburetors on? Quote
Guest bewillie Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 No, let that one go to the insurance co. 35 Dodge coupe which I've had for about 6 or 7 yrs. Tryed to sell it but everyone thinks you should give it to them so guess I'll finish it. Quote
