Okay, I give up. Where can I find non-indexed dual filiment 6 volt bulbs. I need to convert the tailights on my 47 P15 to brake lights as well.. Pigtails are no problem, but I am having trouble finding bulbs.

you can use the indexing ones without a problem whatsoever by changing from single wire to two wire pigtails stuffed into your housings..you can loop back one wire for two purposes..one; to lock the travel of the noncompressed spring up from the bottom of the socket and keep it from losing index, two; the looped one could easily be the identifier for the lower bayonet pin on the bulb....have converted many light sokets this way without any problems..

6v dual filament indexed base bulbs are #1154

6v dual filament bayonet (non-index) base bulbs are #1158

Searching for #1158 turns up lots of sources. If you have a NAPA near you try this:
