NiftyFifty Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 That would make a cool fall evening painting.... Maybe a deer in the background.... Other then that it's living a great life as a picture opportunity and tree saver Quote
pflaming Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Tim, I'm impressed, didn't know you had read Shakespeare! a) remove the doghouse and engine, then ( plasma cut the frame right down the middle, remove, and reweld. That's what Eisenhauer did with his military trucks as he moved north from Australia to the Phillipines, they cut the frames behind the cab, so they could put them in an airplane and then they welded them back together and repeated that. Read "American Caesar", one of the most fascinating reads I've had. Quote

54Illinois Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Sure that is not a photo shop? Seems the grass is a little off color. Quote
pflaming Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Yes, MacArthur: The book is a long one, 900 pages and 10 font, took me three days. I kept track of where his army was via google, interesting geography study also. I did not realize that Austrailia is at the end of a string of islands starting with Japan then the Phillipines then Aus. (short version). An incredible bit of history. Quote
