Alexander Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Hi Folks Other than steal, who else sells a good fitting Filler Neck Grommet thats not too expensive? All opinions welcomed Thanks, Alex Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Roberts is listed for 9.50...no first hand experience..the company that used to be Mitchell Motors was at one time about the same price and their product was good... Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 If I recall I got the one on my car from Neil Riddle. Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I bought mine from Bernbaum's. Solid heavy rubber, nice shiny surface and fits good - Cost 9,50. Quote
1940plymouth Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I got mine from Andy Berbaum also. It has been ten years or more, but it has held up just fine. I forget what I paid for it Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) I got one from Dave Kruse in Monrovia, CA. His email is krusn64@aol.com Phone (626) 358-3274. His price is $18.95 for the larger size needed on a P15 and other older models. Haven't installed it yet, however. He has numerous other rubber items also......including hood bumpers and door check rubbers. Edited March 4, 2012 by BobT-47P15 Quote
Alexander Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 Judging by some of the feedback there are different size grommets available. The P15 takes the bigger one? Ill call some of these guys today. Thanks! Alex Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Dave says the smaller one he offers is for the newer models.............. Quote
Mark D Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Got mine from Roberts, but haven't installed it yet. Will likely wait for a planned respray in 2013. The product I received was very acceptable and comparable in all aspects to the original installed on the car. Quote
Alexander Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 Based on the feedbacks, I think I will go with Roberts. Thank you all for your Feedback. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 I have one from Roberts in my 46 pickup. Not the same part # but mines been working fine for a little over a decade now. Quote
