Yesterday I took advantage of the beautiful warm weather we have been experiencing here in Virginia to drive out to a client's old "hunt country" farm. Here is a picture of the car at the house.

Goin' thru Warrenton tomorrow. Hold up the rain for me, will ya?

Niel,

It looks like if you come through earlier in the day you will miss the rain. Unfortunately I have to go out of town otherwise I would invite you stop by. Are you coming back through this way?

Going to be in Virginia this weekend. Going to Williamsburg. Will be there from Friday to Monday morning. Hope the weather stays warm and dry. We'll be going with our son and his family for The Grand Illumination at Williamsburg. Should be fun being there with the grandkids.

Rain came in on the morning of my birthday..after it cleared out the cold set in and I feel this is marking the beginning of our cold spell..temps into the high 20's predicted by Wednesday..I guess my last nice weather drive was last weekend to Lou Earle's house to meet up with him and Richie Hodge..We dang near made it into December with 70 degree temps..

Had a fantastic time in Williamsburg. Fireworks were great. When we left home Friday morning the temp was 29 degrees. In Williamsburg, it was in the mid 60's. Left at 10:30 am for home with temp heading to 70. Drove 720 miles straight home in 14 hours. Halfway through Pennsylvania we ran into heavy rain. That changed to heavy snow in Ohio. Got home at 1:15 am with the temp at 33 degrees and everything snowcovered.
