Justa quick review. I recently got some simple items (front brake shoes and wheel cylinder kits). Long story short my truck has an odd style of non-stepped front wheel cylinders. I had already bought the more common steeped kit from NAPA and just assumed they got the wrong ones. So when I ordered my brake shoes I ordered the front wheel cylinder kits.

When they arrived I realized I had recieved the stepped kit again. So I decided I would go back to NAPA and use half of each kit to make it all work.

I never called Roberts as they had sent me exactly what was called for on my truck, my truck just has the odd "early style" non stepped. I did mention it on a post here though.

Well today I went and checked the mail and there is a little box from Roberts. I opened it up and it was the two 1 3/8 cups I needed!!

Thats a pretty cool company that tracks things that close and can figure out from a random internet post what one single customer needs and sends it free of charge!!

I will definatley be back, and lord knows I will need alot of part in the future.

That's really great customer service from Roberts. They're always friendly when you call. I like the fact that they keep your projects in their database so when you call to order something, they know what you're working on. Mike

I've had generally good experiences with Gary. I didn't like his tail lights and quit using them. They were so cheap they rattled all the time and would short out. I bought his interior kit and it came with the wrong door panels. They aren't differentiated in the catalog between 48-50 and 51-53. I called and complained to Gary and, while he didn't seem to "get it," about three years later he sent me the correct ones out of the blue. I called and thanked him...

I emailed both Roberts and Steeles about a windscreen gasket a week or so ago.

Got a reply back from Steeles straight away with a quote, the deal was done, and the gasket posted within an hour.

Haven't heard back from Roberts yet :)

Has anyone ordered the box sides with curled edges from Robert's? Are they accurate? They advertise that there fenders are fiberglass which I am not a fan of but are the box sides accurate and metal? If so it might be better to order new ones than restore my old ones. I would like to start with the front and the tailgate of the box but if they are not genuine and look like a reproduction are they worth it? Just looking for opinions.

Cool, thanks. I'll give him a call when I am ready to get the rest of the rubber down the track.

It was only the windscreen I needed to do urgently.

Gary is a great guy and I've never had a problem with his company. He's always been very willing to help with odd parts.

I'm fortunate to have two vintage mopar suppliers only a half hours drive away from my home, (and at least two major p15 e-bayers). But I've only dealt with Roberts to date and have only great things to say about my orders from him. As a relative newby to the game, he's reached out with each of my orders to make sure I got the right parts saving the both of us aggravation and getting me working on my car without delays. If you're reading this Gary - thanks and keep up the good work!
