BobT-47P15 Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Apparently they had a 5.6 earthquake about 45 miles E of Okla City just before 11 tonite (Sat). We even felt a little of it here in Anderson, MO....30 miles S of Joplin. Anybody else feel it. Quote
48mirage Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 It rattled the closed doors in the house, I got up to try to figure out what was going on. Pittsburg, Ks. Quote
Captain Neon Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 No thing here in Topeka, but Wichita and Springdale AR felt the quake. All of these recent Midwestern quakes makes me nervous that the New Madrid fault (i.e. the Mississippi River) is getting ready to shake Memphis and St. Louis to rubble. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 maybe be a good time to speculate in some western Georgia property..never know..may eventually have Mississippi River front property for sale.. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 I figure either the global warming will melt the ice caps and give me beach front porperty to the east and as stated the New Madrid fault will allow the Mississippi to be on my wester property line..between this, Mayan 2012 and the big sign painted on top my barn that reads "ALIENS LAND HERE" something is bound to happen in the near future.. Have you got a nice mowed clearing in your woods for them? For some reason, many accounts involve them landing in clearings in wooded areas. Roswell was a crash in the middle of no where after getting too close investigating primitive rocket technology. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 8, 2011 Author Report Posted November 8, 2011 I think I added earthquake coverage to the home policy a while back..... Quote
