B1B Keven
Here's two more possibilities: Both Baldwin 'sock type' filters. JC405 - 4" OD. / 5.125" height. CU406 - 4.125" OD. / 5.5" height.

Scruffy49
My 218 canister had a Texaco T-11 in it. It can be cross referenced to about 6 different NAPA/WIX filters, with or w/o sock. Not sure what the 230 has in it. I'm going with a PH8A filter adapter for Big Twin Harleys. Tired of messing with canisters, do enough of that at work (Mercedes powered Sterlings). 54Illinois
I pulled this out of the 54 Belvedere 230.
James_Douglas
Just to cloud the issue a little more I have a DU head on my 35 Dodge model DU sedan. Reg, I have been hunting through the forums looking for anyone with this particular oil filter. It is a Purolator which I have and I am trying to find out what Purolator filter number it originally used so I can do a proper cross reference. Any ideas on filter part numbers for this can? Thanks, James
