Scruffy49 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 My 218 canister had a Texaco T-11 in it. It can be cross referenced to about 6 different NAPA/WIX filters, with or w/o sock. Not sure what the 230 has in it. I'm going with a PH8A filter adapter for Big Twin Harleys. Tired of messing with canisters, do enough of that at work (Mercedes powered Sterlings). Quote
54Illinois Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 I pulled this out of the 54 Belvedere 230. Quote
James_Douglas Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 Just to cloud the issue a little more I have a DU head on my 35 Dodge model DU sedan. Reg, I have been hunting through the forums looking for anyone with this particular oil filter. It is a Purolator which I have and I am trying to find out what Purolator filter number it originally used so I can do a proper cross reference. Any ideas on filter part numbers for this can? Thanks, James Quote
