Lakermatt
Hello all, I am looking to have my manifold split on my 1953 Plymouth cranbrook. It has the original motor and transmission. I am looking for someone that does it around California. Or if anyone has one for sale!! Please let me know. I heard this is the place to go for old mopar!!! 48mirage
When I had mine done, I got a local welder with experience on cast iron to weld a second outlet on my manifold. $40.00. Been using it for 2 years now.
Andydodge
I found a 2nd manifold that had the exhaust outlet behind the heat riser so I cut both the front dump and back dump manifolds excluding the heat riser and had a blacksmith weld the cut ends......see pic attached, not cheap but due to the RHD steering box that lives between the oil pump & fuel pump this is the only option I had.........pic shows the manifolds on the mocked up engine.......regards, andyd
Don Jordan
My question is how do you adjust the valves? I have a dual exhaust and the only way I can get to the valves is take the manifold off. Is there an easier way?
greg g
before you put the manifolds/headers on.........
