you are welcome, they used mine to make the template.

Wen you put yours in did you mark and drill the holes for the top headliner before you put the rear window liner in?

Yes, I marked and drilled the holes before I installed the rear window liner.  I did that because pushed the headliner up as I moved along making the holes so that it would be pushed up tight against the top of the cab.

Then when I installed the single piece rear window liner (thanks for helping Quiet rides with that, I really like it) I aligned the pre-drilled holes on the rear window liner with the holes I drilled in the headliner and pressed in the buttons.  The two sets of holes didn't align perfectly because the pre-drilled holes in the rear window liner were off just a smidge, but they were close enough to fit the button through.

Notes from my install last night:

1.  ONLY drill holes once you have the headliner in place.  I transfered the holes from my old headliner and while one side was good the other was off by HALF an inch!  :(  So I drilled new holes in the cab!  :eek:

2.  don't be afraid to drill holes slightly larger than you think.  I drilled mine at 1/4" after I decided the 3/16" was to small and deformed the push pin prongs too much.  The head is large, use it to cover a hole.

3.  having a helper was a HUGE thing.  I could concentrate on things while he held (drilling holes, holding things in place, holding tools, flashlight, etc.)

4.  I used the rope around the window gasket trick to get the rear liner on, glad I did!  The few times I had to use my fingers it hurt!

5.  take a deburr tool to both sides of ther rear windo cut outs, it will soften the install and save you cuts on your fingers if you have to use them to seat the window gasket.

6.  I have NO idea how I'm going to find the center hole in the cab...the PC liner sits up there all by itself, so for now I might leave it out.

Mark;

I would think you could get real close using a rare earth magnet to locate the corners of that pad? The hole on mine is dead center.

One of these days I'm going to have to do that with mine. I've noticed after a few years it's starting to sag slightly in the middle. I'll have to find the mounting lug and get a screw in there now.
