1940plymouth Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 I asked my neice to make a calendar for me for '11 of various photos I took, so this next year I am thinking of having her do another one, but with all antiqued looking photos, here is what I have so far, would like to get your opinions Last years calender was titled "A Year in Sullivan County" this year I think I'll have it titled "A Trip in the Wayback Machine" Quote
1940plymouth Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Again, would like your thoughs, Thanks, Bob Quote
Robert Horne Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Photos look great. One thing that catchs my eye is the wheel/tire does not fit the theme or old look time period.. Quote
busycoupe Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 What a great idea Bob! It is very kind of your niece to take on the project. Don't you mean a calendar for 2012? Dave Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 it has the making of a nice gift to family member..not much beyond that..other than backdrops, there is no variety.. Quote
1940plymouth Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Photos look great. One thing that catchs my eye is the wheel/tire does not fit the theme or old look time period.. Robert, thanks, you are correct about the wheels and tires, but the radials are so much more affordable, and the wheels I had. I have the all five correct wheels, but......... Quote
Robert Horne Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Bob, forgive me if I seem to criticize. Your wheel/tire combination looks great. They give your car a good aggressive stance. I do not have any of the original wheels for my 38, so I will go with a set of 5, Road Runner wheels, that I got a great deal on. Quote
1940plymouth Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Robert, Oh my gosh, no offense taken:) Quote

randroid Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Bob, Since you're using the barns, more specifically their fetishes, perhaps you could focus more on them rather than 'period' buildings in general. However you go I think the photographs are almost elegant in their scope. -Randy Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 other cars..other themes..maybe throw a fricking cat into the mix..your pet gerbil..just anything to mix it up a bit.. Quote
Don Coatney Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Something like these will add to the mix. Quote
Tom Skinner Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Don, Excellent photography to reflect on. I especially like the last one - removing a rear fender with a chain saw. Such beauty and artistry! Tom Quote
Don Coatney Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 There is a great lack of Cooper. He might have been under the fender in the last picture I posted:eek: Quote
1940plymouth Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Niel, Although Cooper isn't too visiable, he is looking out the window at the barn with the Flag barn quilt and also the one with the car and the other barn quilt. I will have to take one with him on the front fender:) Quote
littlemo Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Go Cooper Go !!!! A little more "road dust" on that coupe might add to the "period thing" ??? lol, Cass, alias Littlemo .... Quote
