Uncle-Pekka Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Non restored convertible. Go grab it - another over seas freight is too much for ol'unkka, besides I have six cars now and garage for only two... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200599661183&BackToListReferer=http%3A%2F%2Fmy.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FMyEbayBeta#v4-38 Quote

thrashingcows Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 A very rare car indeed. What was the production number for 46/47/48 Desoto convertibles...Under 400 units I believe? Quote
Mark D Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 If my '48 wasn't one too many already I'd go grab that! So clos to home too. Quote
thrashingcows Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 My book says 8,100 Really that many....I had come across numbers a lot less then that. Well I've been wrong before, and will be again. Thanks for the info!! Quote
Young Ed Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Average survival rate is 10%. You're down to 810 then. Quote
55 Fargo Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 My 1947 Chrysler C38 Royal Club Coupe was a really low production for Canada, with only 10000 Royals of all models Club Coupes or 4 door sedans for 1946-1st edition 49 models. 1947 saw 5579 Royals built at the Windsor Ontario plant, not sure how many were Club Coupes. I figure there may only be about 25 survivors in Canada for the Windsor Plant built 1947 Chrysler Club Coupe Model. I have never seen another in my area. My car may be rare in that sense, but is still a beater, it probably should have been restored 100 % OEM, with paint color , interior etc..... Quote
