faucet47custom Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I'm going to PA tomorrow with my sisters. My eldest uncle isn't doing well in his battle against cancer. Putting it on here because he is one the people that really inspired my classic automobile love. I believe he still has 'barney' his early fifties dodge p/up that has a V8 and sits on 44" tires. He also had a 40 Plymouth Coupe that was going to be a drag car that never got finished. Hopefully we can make there it before he passes. Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Sorry to hear it. It's a hard thing to go through, no matter what anyone can say to you. I wish you and your family the best. My own has had to go through similar things not long ago. Lost both my parents one right after the other, less than two years apart. Just a hard thing to go through and that's all. Again, wishing you the best. Hey, we're a family, aren't we? Kind of an eccentric, peculiar family? Quote
T120 Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 ..A sad journey to say the least.I hope you're able to visit with your uncle and express your appreciation for the inspiration he's given you. Take care Quote

faucet47custom Posted April 1, 2011 Author Report Posted April 1, 2011 Thank you so much for the thoughtful replies. My Uncle passed last night at 12:45. I don't know if my dad was able to make it to the hospital before then. He had jumped on a plane yesterday. I guess now I have something to finish my build in memory of.... Quote
