There will be a big car show this week end. I am entering my Studebaker. The Plymouth was there two years ago. I spent the one good warm day we had polishing up the wheels. I put atleast 3 coats of wax on it, duh...winning. I hope to bring home some gold. I will put pic's on the thead as soon as I start my journey. Wish me luck;) I got tiger blood in my veins!

Duh...winning:cool: hahah Jim the show is at the DC Armory. It's saturday and Sunday. Tommy I will take some video and pic's. I will have a cool new device my daughter has told me about, instead of having the poster board I will have a digital Picture frame with about 40 pictures on it. This thing is wild I can show how the car was put together and everything. They are supplying me with some electic so I can run the thing. I am so proud.

Looks like a nice show. The Stude looks wunnerful. That P15 coupe is

sharp, too. I'm sort of surprised they let all those cars onto that hardwood

basketball floor. Looking forward to more pics.

We had som much fun yesterday, the wife walks in and 5 min. later she wins the 50/50 She's happy for the rest of the day. It's funny I kept looking for her and could not find her:mad: I saw some friends I had not seen in 10 years. It is a great thing to grow up in a city, the Armory is 200 feet from my first High school (Eastern High) I went there for 1 quarter. My Mom had me transfered to Spingarn High school It's a good thing to as that is where I met my dear wife:) Across the street from Eastern High school is Eliot JR high I went there all three years. Some of the cats I went to school with still live around there. It was so cool to be at the Armory and near RFK stadium We use to have lunch in the stands many many years ago before all this security.

It is so nice to have the car at this show. Folks came as far as Penn, Baltimore, western Maryland real nice. This is the last day so we will get some breakfast and get back there;)

There were some great displays there as well, A lady had a great bike there as well. As you can see most of my friends are street rodders. These cats pour alot of money into these cars, I can't do it but what ever makes them happy. There is a car at the show that cost a guy 200 thousand, man what was he thinking. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a car it's not in my DNA. Anyway, I like driving my car and when it crashes or breaks I don't lose my mind, they are only cars right:cool:
