Reg Evans Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 You've got to be kidding ! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320609903676&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1123 Quote
Frank Elder Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 It reads....Had a clear title but lost it in the shuffle, then why not apply for a duplicate before putting it on ebay??? Boo. Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) That's easy. Take the Chebby motor out and put a flathead back in. It's pretty much all there. If I had the money.......... Tom Edited October 29, 2010 by P-12 Tommy Spelling duh Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Ran out of money before the RESTORATION was complete?????????? However the car looks to be in fair shape and the buy it now price is right. The seller needs to upgrade his Photobucket account Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Really..... a nice enough looking car. Price is reasonable. Just another mis-use of terminology (restoration). That big ole grille looks to be in good shape - that's worth a bunch. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Great price. Just ditch the OHV six for a trusty flatty. As Bob T mentioned, the grille looks good and you can't rechrome one for the asking price. That would be a great project. Quote
49roadster Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 If the seller couldn't get the title problem straighten out to complete the first sale, what problems will the next buyer have? Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 It seems like it would be a good deal for the money, on the condition the seller deliver a title. Here in Indianny its illegal to sell a car without one. Piece o' cake to chuck that stovebolt stuff and do it right. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Title would not be a problem where I live - Alberta, Canada. All you need is to take the car anywhere licenced to do an out-of-province inspection and if it passes, can show proof of ownership, and have insurance, you get your registation for the car. I can never understand the big issues some of you guys unfortunately have with cars without titles. My '38 Chyrsler came from another province, hadn't been registered anywhere for 20 years. I just did the out-of-province inspection, got insurance, and showed the bill of sale from when I bought it and pronto - registration, which is like a title really. Quote
mrspeedyt Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 you guys have it good... it's a hassle (but not impossible) to get a 'bonded' or abandoned title in arizona. Quote
