G'day everyone. Found this site while looking for Flathead info. I bought a 1952 Dodge Kingsway Custom with Flathead six last week. It is fully restored and a really nice car.

My daily driver is a 1976 Chrysler VK Regal sedan, it has a 265 Hemi Six and BW 3 speed auto. Runs on Propane and Petrol. And I have a 1967 Dodge utility I am rebuilding as a mild custom. It runs a 225 slant with 904.

Some Pictures. First the Regal.

The Dodge Ute when I first got it.

And the Dodge.

Hey mate, welcome aboard from the not so sunny (at the moment, rain) Adelaide Hills. You know what they say, 'wet one day, wet the next". Nice Kingsway. Nice to see people choosing them instead of Cussos & 50's Chebbies. I have two of them at the moment, a 53 & a 54. The 53 is a parts car which I bought recently. My 54, which I've had for about 6 years, is a mild custom, has a 230 & 3 speed, whereas the 53 has a 250 with overdrive & a few cool 60's accessories. Might change out the 23" for the 25" & OD as it's a good solid engine.

Cheers

I like the terms: rugger and utility, always like local color terminology. Was in England years ago and learned the difference between "matie" and 'bloke". Welcome to you from USA and NICE CARS!!!:)

Roger, You are the only one I've heard of running a 265'' Hemi Six. I have a 59 Chrysler Ute with a 265'' 2 bbl. Don't have any idea who imported it to the States. Frank

Frank, There's heaps of 265 6s over here. Also 245 and 215. Top motor. A cam and triple Webers, theres not much can touch them. But they would be rare in the states.

Yeah, I am originally from England and in 2002 took my Australian wife over for a holiday. I started talking English to her and she had trouble understanding the terms I was using. A great laugh. Roger

Nice looking cars, Do you have any more photos of the Dodge utility? That looks interesting.

Dennis:cool:

Heres a photo of when it arrived at my place. It had Valiant badging, but when I checked the body number I found it was a Dodge. So I am building it with Dodge badging and trim.

Roger, welcome. Those are definitely some neat rides. Your '76 Chrysler is very unusual to me. I like the lines. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but someone stuck the steering wheels on the wrong side!
