RobertKB Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/news/preview-concept/4217016 It sounds quite plausible and the technology is certainly there. I sometimes think conventional car companies need to think more "outside the box" like TATA motors (builder of the air car) and other up and coming companies. We all say we want to be greener but I don't see the demand for oil lessening. I am as much at fault here as anyone else. Quote
greg g Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I heard a teaser for a car powered by diet soda and mentos. Messy but sweeeeet. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 if we could just harness the hot air off the forum we would have burning rubber, black marks a mile long and approach 100 MPH all in first gear..we would next find how to take the hot air and convert it to AC for the other side of the equation..and at the same time we would surely have enough increase in MPG's that we will have to periodically drain the tank as we drive..and maybe we could get about 10 reality shows to spin off all this.. Oldguy48 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Wow...Based on the prolific number of "Air-Heads" I have observed on the highways, I believe our energy crisis has been solved. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I find the 2.00 fill charge quite unbelievable..check out the pressure and volume..then try to get a small co2 cylnder filled..and in a quick order..while it may not be imposible..I do not believe in the probabality...lots of things look good on paper...
