DLK
I got my car together just in time to drive to a local Plymouth Club get together about 25 miles from my house today. Who would have thought on May 8th I'd be driving there in 43 degree weather. My California-built car has no heater.
1940plymouth
Even though there is no heater, enjoy the ride and take lots of photos. Good luck and have a good time, Bob
DLK
Even though there is no heater' date=' enjoy the ride and take lots of photos.Good luck and have a good time, Bob[/quote'] The day turned out ok just a few sprinkles. As you can see there were a number of Plymouths and my Dodge represented. There were several additional cars not in the pictures. It was a lot of fun driving down the country roads and into the small town of Lindstrom the caravan certainly attracted attention.

It was like $20 at an auto zone and works pretty good. Speaking of Minnasota, is Brett Favre playing this year? Haven't heard that he's not, just wondering been a fan of his for several years. greg g
Perhaps Indiana also. We were at the Studebaker Zone meet in South Bend. It was in the low 30's with the wind blowing at about 30 miles per hour. Too Cold for my bones. Met Niel Hoback and his family who came to show his P15 to the Studie folks. They had an ope car show as well as the studebakers and Packards. Had a nice chat for bout 20 minutes or so. Then we decided to hit the road for home. Nice to meet you and your family Niel. Hope your trip encourages you to make more trips in your Plymouth. Currently here in the middle of NY its spitting snow.

Charlie Olson
Well, I was really surprised when PLYWOOD and I were snowed upon, Thursday, April 29, in Williams, AZ. I finally got to use the heater, which kept things nice and toasty in PLYWOOD. This picture shows the slushy ice/sleet on the windshield and the white stuff on the ground is what I would call hard snow/soft hail. The tired old vacuum wipers weren't able to clear the heavy slush off the windshield, so I had to stop to wipe it away by hand and take this photo. As a matter of fact I think there was just enough heat coming through the firewall to keep me comfy. Here is a picture of "Young Ed" and his fiancee admiring a 39 Plymouth that was along for the ride. What a beautiful car.
