I like the burma shave signs but the car info is a little lacking. He says the Tucker died from lack of financing? Not hardly. And the Turbine cars were destroyed because they were a failure? They were destroyed because Mopar didn't want to pay the import duties on them.

Ya the pics were neat. I did enjoy it. I know there are a few turbine cars still around. I've heard anywhere from 3-13 weren't destroyed. Somewhere I saw actual footage of them being destroyed :(

Oh and one of the guys in our plymouth club chapter was lucky enough to have his family chosen to test one of these back then. He has some interesting stories about the cars.

We attended a WPC meet in the mid-1980' in Detroit and Chrysler had one running and took folks for a ride around the proving grounds. So at least that one was still around.
