Hey all, I only have 1 B pillar grab strap, but am not sure how it mounts.

I know where it mounts, there is a hole with 2 screw holes, 1 over and 1 under.

But my grab strap has only 1 center hole in it's bracket. I must be missing something to attach this correctly to my B pillar.

Here is a pic of the grab strap.........Fred

Never seen a grab strap like that before on a P15. Is it custom made?

My car is a 47 Chrysler C 38 Club Coupe, so maybe a little fancier trim. Any idea how they attach?.....

Fred, I am surprised that a coupe would have those hold straps. My Dodge D25 coupe does not have them. I have a pair on ebay right now from a D25 sedan and they are the same as the P15. You can have a look at them but I don't think the Chrysler is the same, at least in any Chrysler sedans I have seen. I don't think what you have is from a Chrysler but I could be wrong.

Hi Rob, when My Uncle first had my car he had a 4 door Windsor too, maybe it came from that.

So I do not need the grab strap in my car, great 1 less thing to worry about.....Fred

It is similar, but yors has 2 screw holes to mount it. On the Chrysler grab strap, there is a little bracket that screws onto the pillar, then the grap strap slips over a stud, and a cap snaps onto it to hold it on somehow. That was how 1 48 Chrysler guy explained it

I looked on the Plymouth, only one screw holds it on...hope this helps......

Thanx Kyle, seems likea coupe doesn't have these, so maybe will not worry about it.......
