1950 Special Deluxe
Spent the last 3 days polishing the old paint and chrome. Rubbed the paint with some Caruba cleaner, did all the chrome with some shine renew, cleaned the windows, replaced the cowl vent weatherstripping, and took a small drive. All in all quite productve, weather was beatiful in Saskatchewan this weekend 70+ all 3 days. I have included 3 pictures. It looks good from far, up close far from good. 1940plymouth
Good to see that you are able to get some work done on the Dodge. The sunlight hitting the front of the car sure makes all your hard work show. One great looking car:) Thanks for sharing the photos, Bob
moose
I think it looks great. I love the 'everyman', utilitarian look of the gray. Like it could hide in the shadows, and not be noticed... Kinda like the typical old movie private eye car. Well, couldn't hide these days I guess:rolleyes:
DLK
We have had great weather in Minnesota too. It is is painful being unable to drive my 50 until I finish my rewiring project. You have a nice looking car.
PatS....
All the hard work paid off...it looks great! Nice way to spend a couple of nice spring days, maybe have a brew. I like them with the wear and tear and warts showing. We had some great weather here in Calgary too.
