Young Ed Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Hey Ed, have you been to the original Famous Dave's up near Hayward? Gotta love a place that'll serve food on a garbage can lid Been to hayward a few times but never had Famous Daves there. Is there anything special about that one other then being the first? Our plymouth club region is talking about taking another tour up to Hayward. The fishing museum was a big hit last time we went. Hayward is fairly close to my folks cabin and we had the club up there after hayward. Quote
greg g Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Personally I allways appreciate a well framed photo. That roll of paper towels really sets off the photos subject. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Ed, Probably nothing special about that one. I believe the menu is the same. It is on a lake and has patio seating overlooking the lake. Kind of nice when the weather's nice. Merle Quote
Young Ed Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 That still might be a good site to see if we tour the area again. Thanks for mentioning it. We are considering a tour that way again this summer. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Dont forget about the Lamberts Restaurant in AL. Think it was around Gulf Shores. Ate at the one in Sikeston MO (original Lamberts) many times while working in the area but finally had the chance for the family to enjoy one in AL at family reunion. A person could get full before there main meal came out in this place. Quote
